.NET Software Developer / Engineer
Manticore Technology Corporation is making an addition to our software engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who can handle a lot of responsibility. You will be working to support our existing engineering team on new product development, bug fixes, QA/testing, and other critical development tasks. This position will provide an opportunity for the right person to use and learn many different technologies and architectures in a creative environment with other highly experienced developers.
The primary environment that you will work in is the Microsoft .NET platform.
Responsibilities and skills required are:
- Develop our technology using VB/C# .NET
- Supporting a set of native windows services
- Enhance and maintain a set of DLLs designed to integrate with our SQL Server data warehouse
- Experience with ASP.NET
- Optimize the performance of your code as well as pre-existing code
Additional skills and experience that will be counted as big pluses are:
- Hosted software development background/knowledge
- Experience with SQL Server Transact SQL development
- Any MCSD/MCAD/ MCSE/etc. certification(s)
This position is for someone just finishing a degree program or who has been in the workforce 1 to 2 years. A BA/BS degree in computer science or engineering is preferred, but candidates with relevant work experience are absolutely encouraged to apply. Compensation is competitive and will be structured as base + bonus. We will not relocate.
